Walk Two: Llandudno Promenade

It's a sunny evening here in Llandudno, perfect for an evening stroll, so why not make the most of the weather and take a walk down the Llandudno Promenade? It's a very relaxing experience and the Promenade can get particularly quiet in the evenings so it can be a very enjoyable walk. It is not a difficult walk, it's not a long walk and it doesn't require any preparation, it's just a nice easy way to end the week.  You can walk all the way down to the Pier, which is more active in the day time if you want to get involved with the various amusements there. Of course, you can't forget that you are on the North Shore, so you wouldn't want to waste the opportunity of walking on the beach, just off the Promenade, to get closer to the sea. There are many times when the Promenade really does make a good visit as it is perfect for a stroll on a cold winter's day, its lively on sunny summer's days and it is also a good place to watch the fireworks display which is held on bonfire night each year.

Next week, we go back into the woods. I will be writing about the Gwydyr Forest Park which is very close to Llyn Crafnant, the location that I wrote about a fortnight ago. If you want more Llandudno walks, then I will be writing about one every other week, alternating between woodland walks and Llandudno walks. So my next walk in Llandudno will be the Great Orme, which you will find out more about in a couple of weeks time.
